Job summary

Cushman & Wakefield seeks an HVAC Building Technician to operate and maintain mechanical, electrical and plumbing systems across Philadelphia properties. The role emphasizes rounds, preventive and corrective maintenance, and safety compliance in a fast-paced environment.

Qualified candidates will have 5+ years of related experience, at least a high school diploma or GED, and relevant trade certifications or apprenticeships.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; trade school or apprenticeship preferred.
• Experience: 5+ years operating mechanical, electrical and plumbing systems in commercial properties.
• Licenses/permits for trade may be required (Journeyman/Master Electrician or related licenses).
• Basic computing skills in Outlook, Excel & Word.

Responsibilities

• Perform plumbing, electrical, and HVAC work for building(s).
• Maintain heating equipment, chillers, DX units, pumps, and air distribution systems.
• Monitor and adjust mechanical/pneumatic equipment and controls; ensure comfortable environment.
• Perform preventive maintenance per standards and manufacturer recommendations.
• Inspect and report on equipment conditions; respond to emergencies and customer concerns.
