Job summary

CBRE Group, Inc. is seeking a Union Mobile Maintenance Engineer (CWA) to perform preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on commercial HVAC and building systems across a portfolio of client locations.

This role travels between facilities to ensure safe, efficient operations and exceptional service. You will work with BAS, RTUs, boilers, chillers, pumps, and VAV systems, while maintaining precise service records and responding to emergencies as needed.

Qualifications

4+ years of commercial HVAC, facilities maintenance, or related technical experience.
EPA Universal Certification required.
Strong working knowledge of commercial HVAC systems, electrical systems, controls, and mechanical equipment.
Experience servicing RTUs, boilers, chillers, pumps, cooling towers, VAVs.
Ability to read blueprints, specifications, schematics, and manuals.
Experience with Building Automation Systems (BAS) preferred.
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills; able to work independently.
Valid driver's license with clean driving record.
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Proficiency with mobile technology and CMMS/Office apps.
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work at heights.

Responsibilities

Perform preventive maintenance, inspections, troubleshooting, and repairs on HVAC, mechanical, and building systems.
Diagnose equipment malfunctions and determine corrective actions.
Service, maintain, and repair RTUs, split systems, boilers, pumps, chillers, and VAVs.
Electrical troubleshooting on motors, controls, relays, VFDs.
Operate and troubleshoot BAS and building controls.
Complete work orders and PM tasks in CMMS.
Identify deficiencies and recommend repairs or upgrades.
Inspect HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and life safety systems for compliance.
Respond to emergency maintenance and after-hours requests.
Maintain accurate maintenance records and reports.
Follow safety procedures and union work rules; ensure safe environment.
Provide outstanding customer service with clients and vendors.
