Job summary

CBRE Group, Inc. in Appleton, WI is seeking a Union Mobile Maintenance Engineer (CWA) to perform preventive maintenance, troubleshooting and repairs on commercial HVAC and building systems across client sites.

This mobile role requires travel between facilities, on-call rotation, and strong HVAC experience. You will work under the CWA agreement, ensuring safe, reliable operations and excellent client service.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of commercial HVAC or facilities maintenance experience.
• EPA Universal Certification required.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC, electrical and mechanical equipment.
• Experience servicing RTUs, chillers, boilers, pumps, VAVs.
• Ability to read blueprints, schematics and manuals.
• BAS experience preferred.
• Valid driver's license with clean record.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Proficiency with mobile devices, CMMS and MS Office.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance, inspections, troubleshooting and repairs on HVAC and building systems.
• Diagnose malfunctions and implement corrective actions to restore performance.
• Service and repair RTUs, split systems, boilers, chillers, pumps, cooling towers and VAVs.
• Electrical troubleshooting on motors, controls and VFDs.
• Operate BAS and building controls; complete CMMS work orders.
• Maintain accurate records and compliance documentation.
• Support after-hours service and on-call rotations.
• Follow safety procedures and union work rules.
