Job summary

CBRE is seeking a Mobile Engineer to support Providence market sites, performing preventive maintenance and repairs on HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and mechanical systems. You will diagnose complex issues, maintain accurate records, and ensure safety standards across multiple locations.

You must have EPA Universal Certification, a valid driver’s license, and willingness to participate in an on‑call rotation. A company vehicle is provided and travel between sites is required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED, or trade school diploma with 5+ years of related building engineering, HVAC, facilities maintenance, or technical experience.
• EPA Universal Certification required.
• HVAC certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary facilities technician for multiple client locations and own building operations.
• Perform preventive maintenance, inspections, troubleshooting, and repairs on HVAC equipment including rooftops, split systems, air handlers, boilers, and chillers.
• Diagnose and repair heating, ventilation, air conditioning, refrigeration, and related mechanical systems.
• Perform basic to intermediate repairs on electrical, plumbing, lighting, and general building systems.
• Respond to service requests and equipment failures while minimizing disruptions.
• Review work orders, estimate labor/materials, and manage tools and inventory.
• Maintain service records and CMMS documentation.
• Coordinate with vendors and client stakeholders to ensure safe, efficient work.
