Job summary

Johnson Controls in North America seeks a skilled controls technician to perform preventive maintenance, repair, installation, and commissioning of building automation systems on customer sites. You will mentor technicians, ensure high customer satisfaction, and provide expert recommendations for improvements and retrofits.

With at least two years in commercial HVAC controls, you will collaborate with sales and customers, communicate technical details clearly, and uphold safety standards on

Qualifications

• Two years of commercial controls troubleshooting experience in HVAC.
• Vocational school or associate degree in a technical field, or equivalent experience.
• Ability to install and service electronic control systems and HVAC equipment.
• Strong written and verbal communication to represent Johnson Controls on job sites.

Responsibilities

• Conduct preventive maintenance, repair, installation, and commissioning of building control systems.
• Mentor technicians and provide technical guidance on building automation activities.
• Provide field proposals for retrofits, upgrades or enhancements to equipment.
• Coordinate with customers and sales to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
