Job summary

cw is seeking an HVAC Building Technician (Mobile) to service and maintain mechanical, electrical and plumbing systems across properties in San Antonio. Responsibilities include rounds, preventive/corrective maintenance, and ensuring safe, efficient operation.

The ideal candidate will have 5+ years in operating building systems, relevant licenses, and proficiency with energy management and safety standards. This role may require on-call shifts and travel between properties.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of related work experience operating mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems in commercial properties.
• Experience maintaining HVAC equipment including boilers, chillers, DX units, pumps and cooling towers.
• Licenses/permits for trade as required (Journeyman or Master Electrician, Refrigeration Certification, etc.)

Responsibilities

• Perform all plumbing, electrical, or HVAC requirements of the building(s).
• Maintain heating equipment, chillers, DX units, pumps, cooling towers, VAV and air distribution systems.
• Monitor and adjust mechanical/pneumatic equipment, gauges, panels, valves and thermostats.
• Perform preventive maintenance per standards (filters, coils, bearings, belts, pumps).
• Inspect and report on engine room, cooling tower, and backup generator equipment.
• Respond to emergencies and comply with safety regulations.
