Job summary

Lincoln Property Company seeks a skilled Mobile Engineer for operations and maintenance of multiple properties in Texas. You will perform preventive maintenance, troubleshoot HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and building systems, and ensure safety compliance.

Ideal candidates have HVAC/Operating Engineer training, at least 2 years of field experience, and familiarity with Building Automation Systems. This onsite role requires daily travel between properties and strong mechanical aptitude.

Qualifications

HVAC or operating engineer training or certification or equivalent experience.
2 years field experience or equivalent technical training.
CFC training/certification or ability to obtain certification for serviced refrigerants.
Continued education in the field.
Strong mechanical aptitude.
Ability to work independently with routine supervision.
Basic computer skills to operate Building Automation Systems.
Familiarity with OSHA, NEC and NFC codes and regulations.

Responsibilities

Comply with EPA, OSHA & ASHRAE rules and company safety guidelines.
Perform preventive maintenance on HVAC, electrical, plumbing, fire control and building management systems; conduct monthly inspections.
Conduct site inspections including roof, mechanical & electrical rooms.
Troubleshoot and repair facility systems including HVAC, plumbing, carpentry, minor electrical, and preventive/corrective maintenance.
Communicates effectively with facility managers, tenants, vendors, employees, and visitors.
Provide recommendations on equipment upgrades and facility improvements.
Daily local travel between assigned properties.
Maintain a neat, clean professional appearance and uniforms.
Maintain an inventory of tools, equipment, and vehicles issued.
Interact with client/tenants professionally.
Inform Regional Operations Manager of problems.
Assist in coordinating construction projects.
Assist in natural disaster recovery efforts.
Read/write English to understand manuals and written instructions.
Access work orders and building systems via mobile device or laptop.
Handle other duties as assigned.
