Job summary

Johnson Controls seeks an experienced Building Automation Systems Engineer to design, implement, and service complete HVAC building control systems and subsystems. Under general direction, ensure quality, timeliness and efficiency while delivering robust controls software and detailed submittals.

You will develop and test software programs, create drawings and schedules, coordinate with subcontractors and the Sales/Service teams, and guide field technicians.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or equivalent required.
• 8+ years of experience in construction, service, or HVAC industries.
• Knowledge of control theory and building automation systems.
• Experience integrating low voltage subsystems using protocols (e.g., LON, BACnet).

Responsibilities

• Designs and services complex building control systems for customer facilities.
• Develops and tests software for system operation per facility requirements.
• Creates drawings, BOMs, schedules, and electrical schematics as needed.
• Coordinates submittals, services, and installation with teams and subcontractors.
• Assists in commissioning and validation of system functionality and training for owners/operators.
