Job summary

El Programa Hispano Católico (EPHC) seeks a Mobile Permanent Supportive Housing Specialist to aid adults in moving from homelessness to permanent housing. You will coordinate with EPHC and partner orgs to deliver wraparound services, case management, and housing stability supports.

The role emphasizes equity-informed, trauma-informed, and relationship-based approaches. Training, travel, and community engagement are part of the duties.

Qualifications

• Must be bilingual (Spanish/English) and bi-cultural.
• Excellent verbal and written communication in Spanish and English.
• Bachelor’s degree in social/human services or mental health field.
• QMHP certified or willing to obtain with the support of EPHC.
• Experience with homeless Latinx/Hispanic and other BIPOC communities.
• Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office; data entry experience.
• Demonstrate judgment and discretion with confidential matters.
• Able to organize, prioritize, and manage multiple priorities.
• Willingness to learn new skills and tasks.
• Strong analytical and strategic problem-solving skills.
• Team player, also able to work independently; adaptable in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to lift 40 pounds and have a driver’s license with required insurance.
• Background checks (civil, criminal, motor vehicle) satisfactory.

Responsibilities

• Provide housing placement and retention support to adults in the housing system.
• Develop individualized housing plans and identify supportive services.
• Assist with housing applications and required paperwork.
• Build relationships with resident services staff and property managers.
• Provide ongoing support including rent payments and service connections.
• Maintain accurate documentation of participant interactions.
• Attend weekly case meetings to review progress and challenges.
• Participate in training, meetings, and professional development.
• Adhere to EPHC policies and procedures.
• Collaborate with partner organizations for contract success.
• Maintain punctual, regular attendance; perform other duties.
