Job summary

The Salvation Army USA Western Territory seeks an Outreach Navigator to conduct housing-focused outreach across San Bernardino County. The role provides mobile, field-based services to people experiencing homelessness, linking them to housing, health, and support resources while working with partners.

Responsibilities include data reporting, field collaboration, and transportation to stabilizing services. Candidates should have case management experience and a valid California driver's license;

Qualifications

• Minimum one year of related work with individuals experiencing homelessness.
• Minimum one year of case management experience.
• Experience conducting street outreach and engagement with homeless facilities.
• Valid California Driver's License, pass TSA Driving Test and maintain a clean MVR.
• Background check clearance required; CPR/First Aid preferred.

Responsibilities

• Engage individuals experiencing homelessness in San Bernardino County to assess needs and provide linkage to services.
• Coordinate with community partners to schedule events and provide whole-person care in the field.
• Maintain data quality and submit reports in WellSky, Clarity, ODIN, and related systems.
• Provide transportation support and maintain vehicles in safe condition.
• Protect confidentiality and adhere to ethical guidelines in all interactions.
