Job summary

Heartstrings Pet Hospice & In-Home Euthanasia is seeking compassionate veterinarians to provide end-of-life care in clients’ homes across Hartford, Glastonbury, Farmington, Avon and Simsbury, CT. You’ll work with a dedicated team, schedule your visits, and help families through difficult moments with dignity and empathy.

Qualifications

• DVM or equivalent required to practice veterinary medicine.
• Strong communication with pet families and clients.
• Ability to manage flexible schedules including weekends.

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate end-of-life veterinary care in clients' homes.
• Practice medicine independently on the road with support from the team.
• Guide families through difficult conversations and decisions with empathy.
