Job summary

West Coast Wound is seeking a skilled Physical Therapist to deliver in-home PT services across the Austin, TX region. You will perform comprehensive in-home evaluations, develop plans of care, and provide therapeutic interventions to improve mobility, safety, and independence.

This 1099 independent contractor role requires strong clinical judgment, excellent communication, and the ability to work autonomously with patients and caregivers.

Qualifications

• Current and valid Texas Physical Therapist license in good standing.
• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy program.
• Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, kinesiology, biomechanics, and rehabilitation principles.
• Strong clinical reasoning and patient assessment skills.
• Ability to independently perform comprehensive PT evaluations and develop appropriate plans of care.

Responsibilities

• Travel to patients' homes to provide physical therapy services.
• Perform comprehensive evaluations in the home environment.
• Develop individualized plans of care and establish functional goals.
• Provide therapeutic exercises and neuromuscular re-education.
• Educate patients and caregivers on exercises, mobility, safety, and fall prevention.
• Document evaluations, treatments, reassessments, and discharge summaries.
