Job summary

SG Homecare is seeking a Patient Service Technician to deliver, set up, and train customers on respiratory and durable medical equipment, ensuring safe usage and exceptional service. The role involves substantial on-road travel to homes and facilities in the community, with on-call rotation.

Responsibilities include equipment delivery and setup, patient education, maintaining records, and coordinating with referral sources while following regulatory guidelines and company policies.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license in good standing with at least one year driving experience.
• Excellent navigation and map-reading skills.
• Strong time management and organization.
• Excellent communication and professional client interaction.
• Physical ability to lift heavy equipment and load/unload.
• Punctual and dependable; able to travel as needed.
• Evening, weekend, and holiday availability.

Responsibilities

• Deliver and set up equipment at customers' homes or facilities.
• Educate customers on proper use and care of HME.
• Maintain knowledge of SG Homecare products and regulations.
• Manage territory to meet service goals and deliver equipment and oxygen.
• Complete patient visit reports after setup and follow-up.
• Promote services to referral sources.
• Perform routine maintenance and simple repairs as needed.
• Remain on-call and respond to emergencies.
