Job summary

Med Resources in the Midwest is seeking a reliable Driver/HME technician to deliver and install durable medical equipment, including wheelchairs, oxygen tanks, and hospital beds, to patients in their homes using company vans. You will set up equipment and demonstrate its use while ensuring patient satisfaction and compliance with company policies.

You’ll also assist the warehouse team, maintain logs and documentation, coordinate with dispatch, and follow DOT safety procedures.

Qualifications

Must have insurance and a valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
Able to lift and move heavy medical equipment (50 lb lift test).
Ability to read maps and navigate delivery routes.
Strong communication and customer service, professional demeanor.

Responsibilities

Deliver and set up durable medical equipment to patients using company vans.
Assist with setup and demonstration of equipment use, ensuring patient satisfaction and policy compliance.
Assist the warehouse team with unloading, restocking, and equipment cleaning.
Maintain delivery logs, service records, and patient documentation.
Communicate with dispatch, patients, and caregivers regarding schedules and needs.
Perform routine vehicle checks and report maintenance issues.
Follow DOT regulations and company safety procedures.
