Job summary

Accelera is seeking a Mobile Equipment Service Technician to ensure the operability and safety of heavy-duty machinery. You will diagnose hydraulics and electrical systems, perform complex repairs, and provide on-site maintenance to clients with a focus on reducing downtime.

The role requires hands-on experience with heavy equipment, the ability to lift 75 lbs+, and the potential to obtain a CDL within 60 days.

Qualifications

3+ years of hands-on mechanical maintenance in heavy equipment.
Diagnose and repair hydraulic, electrical, and mechanical systems.
Ability to lift 75 lbs+ and work in varied weather conditions.
Possession of, or ability to obtain, a valid CDL within 60 days.
Strong communication and technical documentation skills.

Responsibilities

Execute complex repairs and advanced troubleshooting on articulating cranes, truck-mounted forklifts, and diverse heavy-duty equipment.
Drive equipment reliability by performing preventive maintenance and annual safety inspections.
Provide on-site support for emergency repairs to restore equipment functionality quickly.
Communicate repair needs and status updates clearly to fleet managers and site supervisors.
Maintain precise service records, including work orders, parts inventory, and labor tracking.
Uphold safety and regulatory compliance while maintaining an organized mobile workspace.
