Job summary

Accelera is seeking a Mobile Equipment Service Technician to serve as the technical expert ensuring operability of heavy-duty lifting and material handling machinery. You will apply hydraulics and electrical diagnostics to minimize downtime and perform repairs at customer job sites.

In this field-based role, you will execute complex repairs on cranes, truck-mounted forklifts, and conveyors, conduct preventive maintenance, document work orders, and uphold safety and regulatory standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in heavy equipment maintenance, specifically with cranes or forklifts.
• Advanced proficiency in mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical system diagnostics.
• Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting 75+ lbs and working in diverse outdoor environmental conditions.
• Valid driver’s license with the ability to obtain a CDL within 60 days.
• Strong technical communication skills and the ability to document repairs accurately.

Responsibilities

• Execute complex field repairs and advanced troubleshooting on articulating cranes, truck-mounted forklifts, and heavy-duty conveyor systems.
• Drive equipment reliability by performing rigorous preventive maintenance schedules and mandatory annual safety inspections.
• Provide rapid-response support for emergency mechanical failures to ensure customer productivity remains uninterrupted.
• Translate technical mechanical requirements into clear, actionable communication for fleet managers and site supervisors.
• Manage the full service lifecycle, including accurate documentation of work orders, parts procurement, and inventory tracking.
• Uphold the highest standards of safety by strictly adhering to all state and federal regulatory guidelines.
• Maintain a professional, organized mobile workspace and company vehicle to ensure efficient service delivery.
