Accelera seeks a Mobile Equipment Service Technician to ensure the operational readiness of heavy lifting machinery and truck-mounted systems in the field.

This role requires outdoor work in varied weather, lifting 75 lbs+, a valid driver's license with CDL eligibility within 60 days, and clear communication with fleet managers.

Qualifications

• 3+ years hands-on experience in heavy equipment or crane maintenance.
• Proficient with hydraulic systems, electrical diagnostics and mechanical troubleshooting.
• Ability to lift 75 lbs+ and work in diverse outdoor weather.
• Valid driver's license with CDL eligibility within 60 days.
• Strong written and spoken English communication.
• Owns a standard mechanic tool set.

Responsibilities

• Execute complex field repairs and troubleshooting on cranes, forklifts and conveyor systems.
• Perform preventive maintenance and DOT inspections to improve fleet reliability.
• Provide rapid-response support to keep customer operations running.
• Communicate repair status and needs to fleet managers and site supervisors.
• Maintain service documentation, work orders, and inventory in real-time.

About the Role

As a Mobile Equipment Service Technician, you will serve as a critical technical expert responsible for ensuring the operational readiness of heavy lifting machinery and truck-mounted systems. You will leverage your expertise in hydraulics, electrical diagnostics, and mechanical repair to minimize downtime and maximize the productivity of our clients' fleets in the field.

Responsibilities

• Execute complex field repairs and advanced troubleshooting on articulating cranes, forklifts, and heavy-duty conveyor systems.
• Drive fleet reliability by performing rigorous preventive maintenance and mandatory DOT inspections.
• Provide rapid-response support for emergency technical issues to ensure continuous customer operations.
• Act as a primary technical liaison, clearly communicating repair status and mechanical needs to fleet managers and site supervisors.
• Maintain high standards of service accuracy by managing documentation, work orders, and parts inventory in real-time.
• Uphold strict safety compliance standards across all job sites and maintain a professional, organized mobile workspace.

Required Skills

• Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in heavy equipment or crane maintenance.
• Advanced proficiency in hydraulic systems, electrical diagnostics, and mechanical troubleshooting.
• Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting 75lbs+ and working in diverse outdoor weather conditions.
• Valid driver’s license with the ability to obtain a CDL within 60 days.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Must possess a personal set of standard mechanical tools.

Preferred Skills

• Prior experience with welding and structural equipment repair.
