Job summary

FleetPride is seeking a Mobile Technician II to service heavy-duty trucks and trailers at our shop location. You will master preventative maintenance, perform advanced adjustments, diagnose vehicle systems, and support on-call rotations as needed.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years of repair experience on Class 7 & 8 equipment, welding ability, and a valid driver's license (CDL preferred). You will bring hand tools, air tools, and a toolbox to the job and contribute to safe, efficient maintenance.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; Diesel Technology cert/degree is a plus, but not required.
• 3+ years of experience repairing Class 7 & 8 trucks and trailers.
• Welding and Air Brake certification are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Examine vehicles to determine extent of damage or malfunction.
• Perform inspections and preventative maintenance on vehicles and equipment.
• Repair, reline, replace, and adjust brakes (air, hydraulic, electric and brake accessories).
• Test drive vehicles and diagnose electrical, exhaust, and climate systems.
• Maintain a clean, safe workspace and follow safety procedures.
• Assist with after-hours on-call rotation if needed.
