Mobile Medical in Jacksonville, FL is seeking a Scheduling Coordinator to support our mobile healthcare team by coordinating provider schedules, ensuring accurate appointments, and maintaining efficient daily operations.

You will schedule visits based on care plans, enter patient demographics and referrals into the EMR, and communicate updates with clinicians while upholding HIPAA and privacy policies.

Qualifications

• Some college or coursework completed.
• Minimum one year of scheduling or healthcare administrative experience.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Excellent communication and customer service.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and scheduling systems.

Responsibilities

• Schedule and maintain provider appointments based on patient care plans, clinician availability and productivity goals.
• Coordinate daily patient visits and optimize provider schedules.
• Enter referrals, patient demographics, employee information, and visit schedules into the EMR.
• Maintain accurate scheduling records and documentation.
• Answer incoming phone calls and direct inquiries appropriately.
• Communicate scheduling updates with providers and clinical staff.
• Provide scheduling support for staff absences, vacations and leaves of absence.
• Monitor schedule changes and adjust appointments as needed.
• Collaborate with clinical and administrative teams to ensure efficient patient care delivery.
• Maintain confidentiality and HIPAA compliance.
