Job summary

Columbia River Mental Health Services in Vancouver, WA, seeks a Registered Nurse to join the Mobile Health Team on a community-based, mobile unit serving houseless and unstably housed individuals. The role involves assessing physical health, wound care, blood draws, med education, and coordinating with the prescriber.

You will work with a multi-disciplinary team, document progress, and help integrate medical services into clients' treatment plans while advocating for client rights.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse license.
• Two to four years’ experience working with chronically mentally ill adults, and knowledge of psychopharmacology.
• Knowledge of symptoms of mental illness and psychotropic medications.

Responsibilities

• Assess physical health needs and coordinate with Mobile medicine prescriber.
• Provide limited wound care, blood draws, and medication education.
• Work on a mobile unit serving houseless and unstably housed individuals.
• Provide individual and group treatment in community settings.
• Document client progress and update treatment plans as needs change.
• Collaborate to develop and maintain medical policies and procedures.
