Job summary

UCSF Health is seeking a Clinical Research Coordinator to join the GI Division. The role focuses on coordinating studies related to liver disease and liver transplantation, with hands-on data management and regulatory oversight.

The CRC will work under the Principal Investigator to manage concurrent studies, maintain regulatory documents, and ensure protocol adherence across UCSF sites, including mobile outreach on HCV screening and treatment.

Qualifications

• Requires California Driver's License and clean driving record.
• High School Diploma or equivalent; relevant experience may substitute.
• Strong attention to detail with ability to multi-task in a fast-paced, diverse environment.
• Excellent verbal and written communication to coordinate with subjects, staff and external partners.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate multiple clinical research studies under PI supervision.
• Manage data collection, databases, datasets and reports.
• Prepare regulatory documents and ensure IRB approvals and compliance.
• Perform fingersticks and venipuncture for HCV testing; drive mobile van to outreach sites.
• Recruit and consent participants, including vulnerable populations, and maintain study records.
