Job summary

UCSF Health is seeking a Senior Clinical Research Coordinator to independently coordinate the Ibrahim El-Hefni Liver Biorepository (IELB) and related clinical studies. You will lead regulatory and operational activities, manage biospecimen collection and data, and supervise other coordinators to ensure high-quality study delivery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required with demonstrated related experience.
• Strong analytical skills and effective communication are essential.
• Experience managing clinical research regulatory processes is preferred.
• Ability to lead teams and coordinate complex studies across multiple sites.

Responsibilities

• Oversee operations of IELB biospecimen repository and related studies.
• Coordinate IRB/CHR applications, continuing reviews, and safety reports to ensure regulatory compliance.
• Lead training and supervision of other coordinators and staff in the program.
• Develop budgets, track enrollment, and monitor study performance and audits.
• Collaborate with sponsors, researchers, and external partners to maximize sample use.
• Prepare project documents, reports, and communications for stakeholders.
