Job summary

360care is seeking a compassionate Optometrist to serve geriatric and underserved communities in skilled nursing and long-term care facilities. You will travel to sites, perform eye exams with mobile equipment, and interpret results to guide treatment.

As a 1099 Independent Contractor, you set a flexible schedule with no evenings or weekends. You focus on clinical decisions while we handle logistics, scheduling, and billing to support you.

Qualifications

• Doctor of Optometry (OD) degree.
• Active state Optometry license.
• Licensed Optometrist in good standing encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

• Travel to skilled nursing and long term care facilities.
• Conduct Eye Exams with mobile Optometric equipment and interpret diagnostic results.
• Diagnose and treat ocular diseases.
• Prescribe, fit, and adjust eyeglasses.
• Recommend follow up care and treatments.
• Educate patients, families, and staff on vision and optical protocols and concerns.
• Deliver excellent customer service through patient interactions.
