Job summary

360care seeks a compassionate Optometrist to serve geriatric and underserved communities in facilities we support. You will conduct eye exams with mobile equipment, diagnose ocular diseases, and prescribe eyeglasses, while making clinical decisions and collaborating with the care teams.

As a 1099 Independent Contractor, you will enjoy flexible scheduling with no evenings or weekends and support from a full admin and field staff to focus on patient care.

Qualifications

• Doctor of Optometry (OD) degree required.
• Active state license required.
• Licensed Optometrist in good standing encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

• Travel to skilled nursing and long-term care facilities.
• Conduct eye exams with mobile optometric equipment; interpret results.
• Diagnose and treat ocular diseases and prescribe eyewear.
• Educate patients, families, and staff on vision care and protocols.
• Deliver excellent customer service to patients.
