Job summary

Pearce is a leading technology-enabled provider of asset management solutions across North America. We seek a skilled Generator Technician to service and repair commercial generators on telecom cell towers regionally. This role favors independent, self-starters who are willing to travel.

Core duties include maintenance, troubleshooting, component installation, and on-call response. Candidates should have 2+ years in generator maintenance and familiarity with safety standards.

Qualifications

• Two or more years of generator maintenance experience preferred.
• At least 1 year of intense work experience with generator and electrical maintenance software, hardware and processes.
• Thorough knowledge of generator installations, maintenance and repair.
• Knowledge of electronic, mechanical, and electrical components.
• Basic knowledge of FCC/FAA/EPA/OSHA regulations.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, diagnose and repair generators; install/replace components; perform upgrades.
• Conduct performance checks and maintenance on generators per specifications.
• Install fuel/water lines, pumps, wiring and controls; test operation.
• Respond promptly to power/generator alarms; be on-call 24/7 as needed.
• Follow safety practices; attend designated safety training meetings.
