Pearce Services is seeking a skilled Generator Technician to service and repair commercial generators on cell phone towers across North America. This role suits independent, self-starting professionals who are willing to travel regionally and be on call as needed.

Core duties include maintaining generators, diagnosing problems, installing components, reading blueprints, and ensuring readiness. You will work with safety equipment, adhere to FCC/FAA/EPA/OSHA standards, lift heavy loads, and may

Qualifications

• Two or more years of generator maintenance experience.
• Minimum one year with generator/electrical maintenance software, hardware, processes.
• Thorough knowledge of generator installations, maintenance and repair, with familiarity of electrical and mechanical components.

Responsibilities

• Maintain generators, diagnose problems, install/replace components, and upgrade equipment.
• Perform performance checks and maintenance to ensure readiness, read blueprints for installation/repair.
• Install fuel/water lines, pumps, wiring, controls, and test for proper operation.
• Respond quickly to generator alarms; be on call 24/7 when required.
• Adhere to safety practices and OSHA standards during installation and maintenance.
