Job summary

Pearce, a technology-enabled provider of asset management for mission-critical electromechanical infrastructure across North America, is seeking a Generator Technician to service and repair commercial generators on cell phone towers in the region. This role suits independent, self-starters who are willing to travel.

You will maintain generators, diagnose issues, and perform component replacements with a focus on safety and reliability.

Qualifications

• Two+ years of generator maintenance experience preferred.
• At least 1 year with generator/electrical maintenance software and hardware.
• Knowledge of generator installations and repair; basic electronics/mechanics.
• Moderate computer skills for maintenance-related tasks.
• Knowledge of FCC/FAA/EPA/OSHA regulations.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, diagnose, and repair generators and components.
• Conduct performance checks and routine maintenance on generators.
• Install fuel/water supply lines, pumps, electrical wiring and controls.
• Respond promptly to generator alarms and be on-call 24/7 if needed.
• Observe safety practices and attend trainings.
