Job summary

Kooner Fleet Management Solutions is seeking a Mobile Mechanic/Technician to service light and medium-duty vehicles at customer sites in a mobile field setting. You will perform preventative maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs with a company-provided service truck and digital tools.

We require at least 3 years of hands-on auto or diesel experience, strong communication skills, and a safety-first mindset. You will diagnose issues, repair on-site, and ensure safety and reliability for fleets

Qualifications

• 3+ years hands-on auto or diesel tech experience on light to medium duty vehicles.
• Strong communication skills with customers and drivers.
• Comfortable using mobile apps, navigation systems, and digital tools to stay organized.

Responsibilities

• Perform onsite preventive maintenance, DOT inspections, and follow-up repairs on light and medium-duty vehicles in a mobile field environment.
• Handle emergency road service calls with urgency.
• Respond to dispatch requests for scheduled and unscheduled service or maintenance.
• Diagnose and repair electrical, brake, cooling, and air systems; use diagnostic tools to identify issues quickly.
• Use hand/power tools and welding equipment to complete repairs to high standards.
• Road test vehicles to ensure repairs meet quality standards.
• Take ownership of a company-issued service truck and perform pre- and post-trip inspections.
• Collaborate with vendors to source parts and keep operations moving.
