Job summary

Kooner Fleet Management Solutions is hiring a Mobile Mechanic/Technician to service fleets on-site. You’ll perform preventative maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs on light to medium-duty vehicles, including roadside service when required.

You’ll work independently in a field setting, using advanced diagnostic tools and a company truck. Strong communication with customers and drivers is essential, as is safety and reliability in all tasks.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years of hands-on auto or diesel tech experience working on light to medium duty vehicles.
• Strong communication skills – you know how to connect and communicate with customers and drivers alike.
• Comfortable using mobile apps, navigation systems and digital tools to stay organized and document repairs.
• Ready for the outdoors – rain or shine at customer yards.
• Independent, dependable, and self-motivated – you take pride in getting the job done right.
• A positive attitude and safety-first mindset.
• Must be 23+ with a clean driving record and a valid driver’s license.
• Bring your own hand tools and we’ll supply everything else.

Responsibilities

• Perform onsite preventative maintenance and DOT inspections for light to medium duty vehicles.
• Handle emergency road service calls with urgency and reliability.
• Diagnose and repair electrical, brake, cooling, and air systems in a mobile field environment.
• Road test vehicles to ensure repairs meet quality standards.
• Operate with a service truck and source parts with vendors as needed.
