Kooner Fleet Management Solutions is seeking a Mobile Mechanic/Technician to service fleets on-site at customer locations. You’ll perform preventative maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs on light to medium-duty vehicles, often working independently in the field.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years of auto or diesel tech experience, strong customer communication, and comfort with mobile apps and digital tools. You’ll enjoy a company truck, fuel card, cell phone allowance, and solid benefits.

Qualifikationen

• Minimum 3 years hands-on auto or diesel tech experience on light to medium duty vehicles.
• Must be 23+ with a clean driving record and a valid driver’s license.
• Comfortable using mobile apps, navigation systems and digital tools to stay organized and document repairs.

Aufgaben

• Perform onsite preventative maintenance, DOT inspections and follow-up repairs on light to medium duty vehicles in a mobile field environment.
• Handle emergency roadside service calls with confidence and urgency.
• Respond to dispatch requests for scheduled and unscheduled service or maintenance.
• Diagnose and repair electrical, brake, cooling, and air systems to keep fleets running.
• Use handheld computers and precision instruments to identify and fix issues quickly.
• Utilize hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment to complete repairs.
• Road test vehicles to ensure repairs meet top-quality standards.
• Stay productive and meet or beat industry-standard repair times.
• Collaborate with trusted vendors to source parts and keep operations moving.
• Take ownership of a company-issued service truck and perform pre- and post-trip inspections.
