Job summary

Kooner Fleet Management Solutions is hiring a Mobile Mechanic/Technician to service fleets at client sites. This field-based role focuses on preventative maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs on light to medium-duty vehicles, including emergency roadside service when needed.

You will work with top-tier tools, enjoy independence, and contribute to safe, reliable fleet operations in a dynamic environment.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of hands-on auto or diesel tech experience on light to medium-duty vehicles.
• Strong communication skills for customer interactions with drivers and customers.
• Able to operate in a mobile field environment and manage varied tasks.

Responsibilities

• Perform onsite preventative maintenance, DOT inspections, and follow-up repairs on light and medium-duty vehicles in a mobile field environment.
• Handle emergency road service calls with urgency and professionalism.
• Respond to dispatch requests for scheduled and unscheduled service or maintenance.
• Diagnose and repair electrical, brake, cooling, and air systems to keep fleets operational.
• Use handheld computers and diagnostic tools to identify issues quickly and accurately.
• Endure outdoor conditions and stay productive to meet standard repair times.
