Job summary

Cox Fleet is seeking a Mobile Technician Leader to join the Management Team and drive growth in the mobile fleet service market. You will manage a team of technicians, coach employees, and coordinate cross-functional operations to meet revenue and service goals.

Responsibilities include onboarding, safety audits, and market expansion while maintaining compliance and high customer satisfaction. A leadership mindset and hands-on approach are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years in a people leadership role with a track record of developing teams.
• Valid state driver's license and MVR checks; capable of interstate travel.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of mobile fleet technicians with hands-on leadership to drive people development and business performance.
• Foster a high-performance culture through ongoing coaching and career development conversations.
• Own market-level performance including productivity, customer satisfaction, and revenue growth; identify growth opportunities.
• Monitor metrics, logs, and safety records to drive continuous improvement and scalable operations.
• Build relationships with clients and expand service penetration in developing markets.
• Coordinate with dispatch, parts, and billing to align operations with growth strategy.
• Recruit, interview, and hire technicians; onboard and ramp up new staff to support expansion.
• Ensure compliance with DOT, safety, and environmental standards and best practices.
