Job summary

Cox Fleet is seeking a Mobile Technician Leader to join its Management Team to support rapid growth across our mobile fleet operations. You will lead a team of technicians, drive market performance, and partner with sales and client services to expand service penetration.

You will coach and mentor staff, ensure safety and regulatory compliance, and manage resources to deliver high-quality, on-time service in a dynamic, expanding market.

Qualifications

• Degree in a related discipline required; 6+ years in a related field.
• Minimum 3 years in a people leadership role.
• Valid state driver’s license and 3-year MVR review.
• 21+ years old due to interstate operating authority regulations.
• Strong coaching, mentoring, and performance-management skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and direct a team of mobile fleet technicians, providing hands-on leadership for development and performance.
• Establish a high-performance culture through coaching, mentoring, and career development conversations.
• Own market-level performance including productivity and revenue growth, and pursue new service opportunities.
• Monitor metrics, reports, and safety records to drive continuous improvement and scalable operations.
• Collaborate with dispatch, parts, and billing to align execution with growth strategy.
• Recruit, onboard, and develop technicians to support market expansion.
