Job summary

Protech Automotive Solutions is seeking an Automotive Installation Technician to join our growing team in Nevada. You will install and support GPS, telematics, cameras, and other fleet technology across cars, trucks, tractors, and trailers, with hands-on work and opportunities to learn new tech.

Ideal candidates have automotive, electrical, or mechanical installation experience, comfortable with wiring and diagnostics, and a valid driver's license for travel to customer sites.

Qualifications

Hands-on automotive, electrical, or mechanical installation experience.
Ability to read wiring diagrams and use technical instructions.
Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to customer sites.

Responsibilities

Install and troubleshoot GPS, ELDs, telematics, dash cameras, sensors.
Work on light-duty vehicles, trucks, trailers, and fleet assets.
Perform basic 12V/24V wiring: power, ignition, ground, diagnostics.
Route and secure wiring for clean, professional installations.
Test GPS, cellular connectivity, cameras, sensors, and system functionality.
Diagnose electrical, connectivity, and installation issues.
Document completed installations with photos, device information, and service notes.
Travel to customer and fleet locations for mobile installations and projects.
Maintain a strong focus on safety, quality, and right-first-time installations.
