Job summary

Protech Automotive Solutions is seeking an Automotive Installation Technician to install and troubleshoot GPS, telematics, cameras, sensors, and other fleet technology on light and heavy vehicles. This hands-on role blends automotive electrical work with cutting-edge fleet tech.

You will travel to customer sites for mobile installations, document work with photos and notes, and pursue ASE/I-CAR certifications.

Qualifications

• Hands-on automotive, electrical, mechanical, or installation experience.
• Knowledge of vehicle electrical systems and basic diagnostics.
• Comfortable using hand and power tools.

Responsibilities

• Install and troubleshoot GPS, ELDs, telematics, cameras, sensors, and tracking equipment.
• Work on light- and heavy-duty vehicles, including trucks and trailers.
• Perform 12V/24V wiring, route and secure wiring, test systems, and diagnose issues.
• Document installations with photos, device information, and service notes.
• Travel to customer sites for mobile installations and projects.
