Job summary

Power Motive Corporation is seeking a Field Service Technician to diagnose, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain heavy construction and mining equipment on customer sites and mining locations. You will operate from a service truck and ensure maximum machine uptime while upholding safety standards and customer relationships.

The role involves on-site visits, extensive travel (50–100%), and promoting parts and service sales.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2–4 years of heavy equipment mechanical experience.
• CDL B license preferred.
• Medical card or ability to obtain one on hire date.
• Heavy Equipment Dealer certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose problems and determine repairs on heavy equipment.
• Perform on-site maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting.
• Prepare accurate service reports and time records.
• Maintain a clean, safe work area and proper shop tools.
