Job summary

LB GTMA OPCO LLC is seeking a field service technician to perform on-site diagnostics and repairs at customer locations, operating a mobile service vehicle as a dealership representative. You will work independently with minimal supervision to deliver timely, high-quality repair solutions while maintaining positive customer relationships.

Qualifications

• Strong mechanical aptitude with knowledge of equipment operations.
• Experience diagnosing and repairing equipment using manuals/tools.
• Ability to maintain detailed work orders and parts records.
• High school diploma required; technical training preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs diagnostics and repairs on construction, agricultural, and allied equipment at customer sites and job sites as assigned.
• Plans methods and sequence of repairs; orders parts and materials required for assigned work.
• Completes repairs safely and efficiently with quality upon completion.
• Maintains accurate work order records including time, parts, supplies, and outside purchases.
• Maintains inventory of parts kept in stock on the service vehicle.
• Operates and maintains company-owned vehicles, tools, and equipment required to perform job responsibilities.
• Ensures all tools are cleaned and returned to their location in working condition.
• Communicates with customers professionally to update status and satisfaction.
• Mentors Service Technicians and Apprentice Technicians as needed.
• Participates in warranty and Product Improvement Programs as required for credits.
