Qualifications

• CDL B license required or able to obtain.
• High School diploma; tech school in diesel/heavy equipment preferred.
• Experience as a Heavy Equipment Technician/Mechanic required.

Responsibilities

• Ensure a safe work environment and maintain clean work area.
• Inspect, diagnose, and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems on heavy equipment.
• Maintain accurate service logs and equipment reports for billing.
• Overhaul and test machines for efficiency and performance.
• Perform preventive maintenance and keep up with equipment models and training.
• Communicate needs and safety hazards to shop management.
