Job summary

Raymond West is seeking a dynamic Field Service Technician to service, troubleshoot, and repair lift trucks and related equipment at customer sites. You will operate with a company van and fuel card, travel daily within assigned territories, and maintain strong customer relationships.

This role requires mechanical aptitude, safety awareness, and the ability to work independently while collaborating with the Service team. A valid driver’s license and willingness to travel are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; minimum 3 years breakdown/service experience.
• Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record.
• Must pass pre-employment physical and drug screen.
• Travel within assigned territories; willing to work overtime.

Responsibilities

• Repair all types of Raymond West equipment at customer sites.
• Troubleshoot, repair, and service material handling gear.
• Update training and skills; train other staff as needed.
• Maintain accurate parts inventory and paperwork timely.
• Maintain a clean vehicle and represent the company professionally.
• Communicate options to customers before proceeding with work.
