Job summary

Taylor Sudden Service Inc. is hiring a Field Service Mechanic to support Taylor Machine Works equipment across the Midlothian, TX region. This full-time, on-the-road role requires hands-on diesel and hydraulic repair skills and on-site service at customer sites.

You'll travel locally with occasional overnight stays, diagnosing and repairing heavy equipment while ensuring safe operation and customer satisfaction. Prior vocational training and a valid DOT-compliant driver's license are preferred.

Qualifications

• 5+ years diesel, hydraulics, or heavy/industrial equipment experience.
• Valid driver’s license & DOT certifiable (21+).
• Vocational/technical training preferred.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair diesel, hydraulic, and industrial equipment
• Inspect, assemble, and test equipment at customer sites
• Provide professional, on-site service and operator support
• Travel locally and occasionally overnight
