Job summary

Honey Bucket Inc. in Taylor, TX is seeking a skilled Mobile Diesel Mechanic to maintain our fleet across Central Texas. Based in Taylor, you will handle on-site service calls and collaborate with Shop and PC leadership for scheduling and support.

The role requires 5+ years of commercial fleet maintenance experience, a clean driving record, and own tools. CDL is preferred; welding certification and fabrication experience are a plus.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in commercial fleet maintenance.
• Clean driving record and valid license; CDL preferred.
• Own tools and proficiency with trade tools.
• Welding certification and fabrication experience preferred.
• Basic computer skills to input maintenance records.

Responsibilities

• Conduct inspections and diagnostic tests to troubleshoot issues.
• Perform routine and preventative maintenance.
• Use diagnostic tools including laptops, scanners, and wiring diagrams to diagnose and repair diesel engines.
• Repair and replace drive train components including transmissions, clutches, drive lines and differentia.
• Diagnose and repair hydraulic systems and components.
• Perform DOT inspections on trucks and trailers.
• Maintain safe and organized work area.
• Keep knowledge up-to-date by training and reading technical publications.
• Adhere to safety policies and regulations.
• Perform miscellaneous duties as assigned.
