Job summary

CBRE Group, Inc. is seeking a Mobile Engineer to perform preventive maintenance and repairs across building systems in Dallas. You will oversee mechanical, plumbing, life safety, and control systems, and liaise with clients to ensure operations meet design specs.

You will evaluate work orders, estimate time and materials, and implement preventive maintenance programs while supervising junior staff and maintaining safety compliance in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED, or trade school diploma with 4–5 years of job-related experience.
• Universal CFC certification and Valid Driver’s license required.
• Prior shift manager or supervisory experience preferred.
• In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Willingness to take a new perspective on existing solutions.
• Meet physical requirements including lifting up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Oversee maintenance and repairs to mechanical, industrial, plumbing, and life-safety systems.
• Review work orders and estimate time and materials for repairs.
• Implement preventive maintenance programs and oversee emergency maintenance as needed.
• Review inspections of building systems to ensure operation within design specs.
• Ensure compliance with codes, regulations, and safety directives.
• Operate company vehicles as part of daily work duties.
• Share knowledge and coach others across related disciplines.
