Job summary

ABM Industries seeks a Mobile Maintenance Tech to perform preventive maintenance, troubleshoot, repair, and install building systems across diverse facilities. You will service HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and BAS/BMS components, document work in CMMS, and help ensure safety and compliance with standards.

The role requires a strong mechanical aptitude, 2+ years in facility maintenance, and the ability to read blueprints.

Qualifications

2+ years of facility/industrial maintenance or mechanical repair experience.
Experience with HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and general building systems.
Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals.

Responsibilities

Perform preventive maintenance on facility equipment and building systems.
Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain HVAC, electrical, plumbing, mechanical, and related facility systems.
Respond to work orders and service requests in a timely manner.
Inspect facility equipment to identify safety hazards and maintenance needs.
Repair or replace pumps, motors, valves, and lighting fixtures.
Document work in CMMS systems and maintain maintenance records.
Support safety, OSHA compliance, and after-hours maintenance as needed.
