Job summary

ABM is a leading facilities services company seeking on-site maintenance professionals to manage and repair building systems across electrical, mechanical, HVAC, plumbing, and related infrastructure. The role emphasizes preventive maintenance, rapid response to issues, and adherence to safety practices.

Strong communication and organizational skills are essential, with overtime and on-call duties possible. The position requires a high school diploma or GED with 3–4 years of relevant experience

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 3–4 years of related experience or trade-school training.
• General knowledge in servicing mechanical, electrical, HVAC and plumbing.
• License/permit for trade as required (Journeyman/Master Electrician or City licenses).
• Ability to read blueprints and drawings; knowledge of energy management systems.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance and corrective repair of buildings and systems.
• Inspect building systems (fire alarms, HVAC, plumbing) and ensure operation per design.
• Maintain records of maintenance and repairs; respond to emergencies.
• Lead troubleshooting and repair of plumbing, roofs, HVAC, and related systems.
• Maintain building lighting systems and safely operate tools.
