Job summary

ABM Industries seeks a Mobile/Rover Building Engineer to perform maintenance and repairs across multiple facilities within an assigned territory. The role travels between sites to ensure HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and mechanical systems operate safely and efficiently.

Ideal candidates will have 3+ years in commercial building maintenance, strong blueprints literacy, and experience with CMMS/work orders. Must travel daily between locations and maintain safety standards.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record.
• High school diploma or GED is required.
• 3+ years of commercial building maintenance or facility engineering experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and mechanical systems.
• Experience troubleshooting equipment and facility-related issues.
• Ability to read blueprints, manuals, and schematics.

Responsibilities

• Travel between assigned properties to perform building maintenance and repairs.
• Perform preventative maintenance on HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and mechanical systems.
• Respond to work orders and service requests promptly.
• Troubleshoot and repair equipment malfunctions and building system issues.
• Conduct routine inspections of buildings, equipment, and grounds.
