Job summary

JLL is seeking a Mobile Maintenance Mechanic to service institutional facilities across a defined territory. You will perform plumbing, electrical, carpentry and HVAC tasks, respond to work orders, and ensure facilities stay in safe, operating condition.

You will travel between sites, perform preventive maintenance, and handle after-hours emergencies as needed, with a focus on safety and high service standards. A valid driver’s license and 3+ years of experience are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required with trade certifications as needed.
• Minimum 3 years of general maintenance experience in commercial or institutional facilities.
• Valid driver’s license with safe driving record and ability to travel.
• Knowledge of plumbing, electrical, carpentry and building systems with HVAC familiarity.
• Able to use hand and power tools safely and effectively.
• Proven problem-solving and ability to work independently.
• Experience with CMMS and mobile devices for work orders.
• Strong commitment to SLAs, response times and safety.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine repairs and preventive maintenance across plumbing, electrical, carpentry, HVAC and general systems.
• Respond to work orders via CMMS and maintain service levels and response times.
• Coordinate daily service routes across multiple facilities for efficiency.
• Inspect facilities and perform preventive maintenance; report issues needing contractors.
• Maintain company vehicles and drive to multiple sites within territory.
• Handle snow and ice removal and ensure safe access to buildings.
• Document activities, materials usage and keep tools and areas safe.
