Job summary

JLL is seeking a Maintenance Mechanic to keep our facilities operating smoothly and safely in a fast-paced environment. You will perform preventive maintenance across MEPS systems and assist the operations team with building upkeep, including moving furniture and ensuring HVAC efficiency.

You should have a strong mechanical/electrical/plumbing foundation, hands-on tool experience, and the ability to work independently while adhering to safety protocols.

Qualifications

• Valid state driver's license with clean driving record.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical maintenance tasks.
• Basic knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.
• Demonstrated ability to use hand tools and power tools safely.
• Strong communication skills for reporting and escalation.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Flexibility to respond to emergency maintenance requests.
• Commitment to following safety procedures and protocols.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance and respond to repair work orders across mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.
• Conduct facility inspections and report conditions impacting client operations.
• Perform interior maintenance tasks (e.g., hanging pictures, installing keyboard trays, repairing office furniture).
• Assist operations team with building and equipment maintenance.
• Move office furniture and equipment as needed; replace lighting and ballast; maintain HVAC systems by cleaning coils and changing filters/belts.
• Complete hazard assessments and maintain clean, safe work areas; stay current with safety training.
• Submit daily P-card receipts and update work orders in CMMS (360 Facility); conduct vehicle safety inspections.
• Expedite issues to customers and management; attend work and safety meetings.
