Job summary

Cushman & Wakefield is seeking a Mobile Engineer for Houston, Texas. You will maintain and repair HVAC, electrical, and plumbing systems, perform inspections, and respond to emergencies to ensure client occupancy and operations run smoothly.

The role requires strong technical skills, organized daily reporting, and a proactive approach to maintenance programs, with a focus on safety and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; apprenticeship/trade school preferred.
• 4+ years in building engineering or related facilities maintenance.
• EPA Universal refrigerant certification (EPA Section 608).
• Valid driver’s license and location-based licenses as required.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on HVAC, electrical, plumbing and building systems.
• Operate and maintain boilers, pumps, valves, and distribution lines.
• Inspect facilities, report conditions, and assist with due diligence.
• Respond to emergencies; may require light travel between properties.
• Maintain stock, inventory control, and submit monthly operation reports.
• Suggest improvements to preventive maintenance programs.
