Job summary

BGIS in Rochester, NH seeks a Mobile General Skilled Technician to perform on-site maintenance and repair at client facilities. You will operate from a fully equipped service vehicle, handle general repairs, and support HVAC/plumbing tasks as needed, while delivering reliable service and minimizing downtime.

Ideal candidates have 2–5 years of experience with complex electrical systems in commercial settings, read blueprints, and communicate effectively with clients.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2–5 years of experience installing, maintaining, and repairing complex electrical systems in commercial buildings.
• Ability to read blueprints, plans and diagrams.
• Strong customer-focused demeanor and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on facility systems and drive between sites.
• Repair building elements and assist with minor HVAC and plumbing tasks as needed.
• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair appliances and equipment; document resolutions in the CMMS.
• Maintain tools, follow safety procedures, and ensure work meets quality and contract requirements.
• Support Facility Managers and other technicians to complete key initiatives.
