Job summary

BGIS is seeking a Mobile General Skilled Technician in Bronx, NY. You will perform hands-on maintenance across building systems from a service vehicle, including electrical, HVAC, and preventive tasks, ensuring minimal downtime for clients.

Responsibilities include responding to service requests, inspecting facilities, and documenting work in our CMMS. A valid driver's license and ability to travel between sites are required; strong communication with clients is essential.

Qualifications

• Experience installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems in commercial buildings.
• Ability to read blueprints, plans, and diagrams.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Willingness to travel between sites with a company vehicle.
• High school diploma or GED; trade school preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on facility systems.
• Respond to service requests and maintain client relationships.
• Operate company vehicle for on-site visits in a safe manner.
